I wasn't going to turn them on until after Thanksgiving, but Reed loves them. Every time he wakes up, goes outside, pulls in the driveway, we open the front door, you name it! We hear "lights! lights!", over and over again. So, for my little man, we turn on the lights, and Jeff takes him outside at night to enjoy them.

you crazy! I love Christmas lights and got tired of not having them, so I investigated how my neighbors had them up. And spent several hours drilling holes and putting hooks in so now my "helper" can put up lights. My "helper" has his method down.....silly....
We put ours up too. We had to get new ones because a neighbor copied our old ones. And I'm happy for the nice weather.
Ed hates to put up lights. So a few years ago we agreed to do every other year.
This is my year- yeah!
I have no excuses now.
Reed is using the old shoulder injury as an excuse this year. I told him he better start thinking about what he could use next year...without getting a surgery to get out of doing the lights.
If Dawn can get up on her tall roof, then maybe I can get up on my mine. If I fall off I'll blame you though. :)
Do you want to come do my house now?
I love that Casper turns them on at 6pm for you! Can you talk him into turning on mine too?
