First Day of First Grade

Why is it that my oldest, keeps getting older?!

Isabella started first grade today. I think I had a much harder time than she did. Even though she went for a full school day last year, I still struggled. I think that's because I know exactly how long a school day/year is.

This year the program has changed to 90% spanish and 10% english. Her teacher is Mr. Torres, and I just know she's going to have a great year!

First Day of Preschool

Sofia started preschool today. She is so excited to return for another year with Mrs. Becky. This year she gets to go 3 times each week.

This cute girl learned how to ride her bike last week! Hurray!

She had spring break, so we worked with her for a couple of evenings, and on the second night, she figured it out. She was so happy we had to take it in the dark on the night she learned. Then the next couple of days it snowed and rained, and boy was she sad that she couldn't go out and practice.

She also had her first soccer game on Saturday. I'll take pictures this week of her at her game. She loves it, but doesn't understand why she needs to practice, because she says "I already know how to play!"

That was fast!

Dumbo lost his feather, and faster than expected! After dinner at Grandma Susan's tonight, I set him on the floor, and he unexpectedly walked about 4 steps to Grandma. It was so cute. He got so excited and loved doing it. Within about 20 minutes he was taking about 8 steps.
