So tonight I fulfilled my childhood dream of seeing the Osmond's perform in concert. If you haven't heard the story, when the Osmond's were on their "Going Coconuts" tour (not the movie), they came to Wichita. My parents bought tickets for our family to go. I was so excited and then they dropped the bomb on me that they didn't buy me a ticket. I was staying home with Debbie & Daniel and a babysitter. I was devastated! I have never forgotten how sad I was that I wasn't able to attend. So, thanks to Stacia, DeLyn, Dianne & Diana - I went with many friends! I had emailed a few out of town people asking them to register for the free tickets, and man oh man did I hit the jackpot! I ended up with 24 tickets! I should have only ended up with 16, but they had a glitch and sent DeLyn 12 tickets (vs. 4) for the same section!
Donny & Marie sang a medley of some of their most famous songs.
Donny sang a tribute to his parents with a song he wrote while his 3rd son was on his mission.
The Mormon Tabernacle choir did an amazing job and even "rocked out" with Donny & Marie.
The brothers sang some great numbers as well.Marie sang "How Great Thou Art" and it was beautiful.
