My cute niece Natalie (Nani as we call her) is 11 and babysat for me yesterday. It was her first babysitting job, and I think she did a fabulous job. She even changed 2 poopy diapers (which earned her a tip!).
While we were at the movie, she and Bella came up with the idea to do a lemonade stand. After seeing their cute posters, I couldn't say no. So I stood out on the corner with them for about an hour. Reed sat in his little chair and every time the girls hollered "lemonade" at a passing car, he would wave his little hand. I tried it today, and he still waves when I say the word!
They had little bells they found in Grandma's garage and would ring them and smile and wave when people drove by. They had a few buyers, and ended up each making $1.25 after the hour.
As a side note: Mom thought 25 cents a cup was highway robbery. She thought they should be charging 5-10 cents a cup. My dad asked "What? Did she grow up during the Great Depression?" I told mom, "the lemonade is 5 cents, the cute smiles and faces will cost you another 20 cents!"
Bella thinks when she gets home, her dad is going to do it with her!

It sounds like you guys are having so much fun on your trip! You are such a cute mom.
So cute, if they get Jeff to have a stand with them, we will make the drive to buy a few cups
