Here are a couple of cakes I did over the last week or so.
The first was ordered as just a tombstone cake, but It just looked so blah, all grey and such. So I thought I would brighten it up with some flowers. This next one was for my cute niece in Pennsylvania who just graduated from High School. I shipped it overnight - and it came out on the other nearly perfect. It was so fun to be able to be a small part of her graduation party. Congrats Morgan!
It was a great day - and pretty nice weather to boot! I have a LOT of catching up to do with this blog - but it will have to wait a couple of more days.
Happy Father's Day to my dad, and to Jeff. I appreciate all you do and the great influence you are on others. Love you!
My sister Dianne came into town for a visit, and brought a special present from Arizona for the girls. She arrived late, and we actually had to wake up the girls for the unveiling.
Cousin Jane! Boy was Bella surprised! Jane came up with exactly how she wanted the surprise to happen, and made little cards for Bella and Sofie.During their week long visit, we made calzones:
Enjoyed the beautiful outdoors, as well as a little shopping, and took a trip to Gardner Village:
And just played and had fun. Thanks Dayna for allowing her to come out - we had a ball!
She played lots of games outside, enjoyed otter pops and had a fun lunch with mom and Sofie & Reed at McDonalds.
The crowning event was when the firefighters came with their ladder truck and soaked all those that were willing to participate. It wasn't very warm outside, and I was surprised so many voluntarily got soaked! A fun time was had by all!
I am a mother of 5 busy, young children. I love to cook, sew, and create pretty things. I believe childhood should have lots of playtime, yet still incorporate time to work. I love to create magical moments for my kids and birthday parties are my favorite!
